Our Partners

APCC does not a stand alone in our mission. We partner strategically with like minded churches and networks locally and nationally to further the same mission while sharing the same theological distinctives, philosophies of ministry, and values. We are grateful and enthusiastic in our partners who help spread the gospel of Jesus.

Alyssa came to trust in Jesus from a young age, whereas David started following Jesus in college, having once been a strong atheist. David and Alyssa are originally from Ohio, but have spent the past several years in Baltimore, Maryland- where David has worked as a pastor at Redemption City Church. After studying abroad in Japan, David was deeply burdened by its spiritual lostness and felt the call to be part of church planting there. David and Alyssa moved to Tokyo in March 2023, and are serving at Mustard Seed Christian Church Tokyo. They are currently in the Language and Culture Acquisition Phase, studying Japanese full-time. You can find more information about that and how you can support here.

The O. Family

APCC supports the "O" family as they are heading to East Asia to work with an established development center to create a behavioral therapy program for children with special needs. By partnering with local schools and orphanages, the O's will have countless opportunities to train staff in the principles of behavior. Additionally, the O's will be hosting parenting workshops to equip parents to better assist their children through teaching functional communication skills and living skills.

Jay and his wife Caitlin both graduated from Ozark Christian College in 2007 and moved to Japan in 2008. They have lived and worked in Japan for 14 years doing church planting and evangelism in three different cities. Currently, Caitlin serves in music ministry and Jay is the pastor of their church in Tokyo and also serves in leadership with their organization, Mustard Seed Network. They have four kids, one of which is adopted, and they were all born in Japan.
