Family Spotlight: The Laus

Hi everyone! We are the Lau's and we've been collectively attending APCC since we got married in September of 2020 (but Jeff has been attending since late 2016). Jeff grew up in the Greater Boston area while Jung grew up in Queens, New York. We initially met in college in Pittsburgh. Jeff is a computer engineer and Jung is a data scientist who recently transitioned to be a 7th grade math teacher. Both of us were involved with youth ministries prior to being married and are looking forward to serving the ABLAZE youth group at APCC.

This past Sunday, we were both deeply convicted by Jack's reminder to be realistic about our need for God the trials of life. We both tend to put a lot of weight upon ourselves and it's refreshing (and terrifying) to know that we can NOT control every detail in our lives. At the end of the day, Jesus will have the victory over every battle and the hope that we have in this life can only be found in Him. May Jesus give us the strength to face the challenges of today and hope for His coming kingdom tomorrow.
