Family Spotlight: The Lees

Hello! We are Sam and Tricia Lee and have been married for almost seven years after meeting at Rutgers University in NJ many years ago. We’ve been blessed with two kiddos, Willow (4yo) and Owen (2months). Sam works as a firefighter for Fairfax County, while Tricia works in project management at a consulting firm. We’ve been attending APCC for about 1.5 years now and have loved being part of this community! We especially love hearing from Willow all the things she learned from her awesome Children’s Ministry teachers!

This Sunday’s sermon was on Acts 21-26 focusing on Paul’s mission to preach Christ in Jerusalem even knowing that he would face persecution and possibly death. Daniel Dixon preached how our culture today, even within the church, oftentimes prioritizes our comfort and safety over proclaiming the truth. We know that it can be especially challenging while living here in Northern Virginia, and that it takes true intentionality to break through that desire to stay within our own comfort zones. Our hope is that we would continue to learn what it means to genuinely invite others into our lives, in order to share the good news of the Gospel.
